Phoenix’s run and gun in jeopardy
May 13th, 2008 Posted in NBA, SportsSince O’neal was traded to the Suns for Marion, many thought that this would vindicate the end of the run and gun basketball that the suns have played for the last 4 NBA seasons. The suns were again eliminated by the boring Spurs in the first round of the playoffs and now the 2005 coach of the year is leaving the valley to coach the D-Leage like team in New York. Coach D’Antoni is known for his philisophy that offense is their best defense which means winning ballgames by outscoring opponents. And with him gone, and Shaq on the lineup, I might cheer for New York next season.
It sucks to see this team broke like this after making 2 Western Conference Finals appearances in the last 3 seasons. I love the style it’s very entertaining and that’s what sports should be all about. And one thing, the Lakers sucks.
